Plan Nine was founded in 2023 by Chris Hamilton and Charles Meunier with the goal of backing distinct voices and giving them the structure to do their best work.

We develop, produce and co-produce films, animation and interactive work, from festival-circuit shorts and feature debuts to international anime co-productions and video games.

From the start the company has worked across borders. We’re set up to co-produce internationally, leveraging the financial incentives and funding available in the UK alongside our partners’ networks abroad.
